Another interesting acquisition by Google

Google acquired another company which is providing services to manage voice communications. The name of this company is Grand Central. GrandCentral is an innovative service that lets users integrate all of their existing phone numbers and voice mailboxes into one account, which can be accessed from the web. Grand Central helping you to link all phones (home, office, personal etc...)to a phone number that generated in this website, you can set to ring all, some, or none of your phones, based on who's calling. This way, your phone number is tied to you, and not your location or job. Similary you will get central Voice Mail box, you can listen all these voice mails either online or from any phone, forward them to anybody.

Other than these Grand Central having the features of Call recording, Blocking unwanted callers, Receive voicemail notifications via email or SMS, voicemail greetings and many more.... This product is still at the beta stage, and now it is acquired by google, we can expect lots more features when it is available to every one.
