Beware of YouTube similar kind Porn Sites

Over Internet its very common that if there is a good site, then definitely there will be copied or similar kind of website will be there. These fake sites want to cash the popularity of original sites by stealing the users. previously these type of fake sites limited to registering similar domain with the small change in spelling. For example if you type http://www.youtube.com/ you will go to the main Original site of YouTube. If you type http://www.youtube.net/ its directed to a porn site will be having listings all porn related stuff. At this point Google and Yahoo are managed these types of problems. For google when i tried with these domain names gooogle.com, googlee.com its successfully redirected to the original site. Similarly if you type http://www.yahooo.com/ it takes you to the original site.

This copying culture not only limited to the Domain Names. Now extended to copying the templates and logos of original sites. There are some porn sites with looks exactly similar to the YouTube including the similarity in the titles too. For example check the below Logos.

If it is limited to the copying template then the user is in safe side, but some sites download Trojan virus into your system and starts stealing your personal information. When you try to browse these sites, when you click on any video to watch, it pop ups a window asks you to download the video codecs to play these videos. As soon as you accept codecs to download, it downloads a software with the name Virus Heat 4.3 along with a trojan virus. Virus Heat then displays fake system alerts or fake security alerts to trick user to buy the paid version of Virus Heat. The window of the Virus Heat looks like as shown below.

Likely error messages for Virus Heat may include, “Your computer is infected with Spy ware. Your Security and Privacy are in Danger” or “Spy ware programs can steal your credit card numbers and bank information details. Removing Virus from USB Drive

Anit Hacking Company at the age 18

At 18 years of age he is one of the world's youngest Microsoft Certified Systems administrators. His claim to fame, however, stems from the fact that his organisation endeavours to reduce cyber crime.

He gives lectures to officers of the Indian Army and Indian corporates on how to safeguard their networks and the Internet infrastructure backbone from potential raids by malicious cyber hackers.

As a mark of appreciation, Microsoft Corporation chairman Bill Gates invited him to the launch of Biztalk servers in India in 2006.

Meet Vineet Kumar, the founder and CEO of the Global Ethical Hackers Association (GEHA) and the National Anti-hacking Group (NAG); the latter is a non-government organisation which 10,000 hackers have joined as members since its inception back in 2003).

Vineet and these NAG members belong to a category of hackers that take pride in calling themselves 'whitehat hackers' These are ethical individuals who are opposed to the abuse of computer systems by malicious hackers known as 'blackhats'.

Interestingly, despite his expertise in a field as arcane as hacking, Vineet has had no formal training in his trade. He was attracted to computers as a child and managed to get the hang of surfing the Internet and chatting online. During one such session in an online chatroom, he met his mentor, who he refuses to name.

"He was a 'greyhat' hacker," reminisces Vineet. "He was based out of Chicago and gave me hacking lessons over IRC (Internet Relay Chat)."

How does Vineet know that his mentor was somebody based out of Chicago?

"I used some of the techniques he taught me on him," chuckles Vineet, explaining that one can obtain the IP address (Internet Protocol address) of a machine without its owner knowing. "I did it for fun and to know if it actually works."

It's hardly surprising, then, to learn that this mischievous streak caused Vineet's teachers to brand him 'naughtiest kid in school' back when he attended the Army High School in Ranchi, his hometown. By his own admission, he misses those school days. Today he is pursuing a four-year course in Information Technology and Infrastructure Management Services, ITIMs, from Sikkim Manipal University.

Google My Location

This information is little bit old but latest hot topic accross the Internet Users. Google recently started a new type of service that provides Google Maps users who do not have GPS on their cell phone with approximate positioning information based on cell phone towers. The name of this service is My Location. My Location is a new beta technology from Google that uses cell tower identification to provide you with approximate location information, so it will work on phones without GPS. Simply fire up Google Maps for mobile, press [0], and the map will indicate your approximate location by centering on a blue circle like this:

If you do have a GPS-enabled device, My Location can actually complement it. My Location kicks in faster than GPS in most cases, so you can access your location even faster on the map. It also works reliably indoors (unlike GPS) and doesn't drain your phone battery at the rate that GPS does.
